Hello, I'm the Managing Editor of the Cochrane Airways group, covering for Emma Welsh whilst she's on maternity leave until the end of this year. My name is Jessica Thomas and you can reach me via email jthomas@sgul.ac.uk, or via Skype at jessicarothomas for all your Airways editorial needs. 

I have previously worked as Managing Editor with the Cochrane Pain, Palliative and Supportive Care Review Group in Oxford in the UK for a number of years, as well as a short stint with the Cochrane Consumers and Communication Review Group.  I then worked with Cochrane’s Informatics and Knowledge Management team for three years. 

I'm originally from Wales, but have been living in Copenhagen in Denmark for the past three and half years, where I am working for the Cochrane Airways team remotely. I live in a little town called Borup with my Danish partner, Lasse. We have two kittens, Ludvig and Nutte, who have just recently been let out to start exploring the wilds of Borup! In addition to being passionate about evidence-based medicine after working with Cochrane for over 10 years, I enjoy amateur dramatics and am a committee member of an English Theatre group in Copenhagen.

I'm really looking forward to working with the Cochrane Airways team, and have already been made to feel very welcome despite the distance between us all!
